Networking and Server Support
Jacob's CHAOS is here to handle all of your general network and server needs. My services include:
- design
- configuration
- setup
- trouble shooting
- administration
I will repair, maintain, upgrade, install, configure and managed your servers and networks. I will preform system backups for you, or teach you how to manage your own system. I support Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OS based systems.
I will write technical documents and instructions for you. From general user "how to's" to more complex system reviews.
I will consult with you to define your server and network needs, and plan strategies to meet those needs.
I will install ethernet cable in most locations for around $100 per jack. The cable is concealed in crawl spaces when possible, and terminated in wall outlets. When this is not possible the cable is run in molding to keep a clean professional appearance. I use only plenum rated cat5e data communications cable, rated for 1000 megabit ethernet, to insure signal quality.
